my goals

My Lenten Promises.

Lent is when you give up something for 40 days. You can give someone something of yours too. We also pray more.
We do Lent because Jesus had had nothing for 40 days when he was in the desert.
Lent reminds us to turn to God.

    I am from

A weatherboard  house and a big long long driveway and a mailbox at the end.                                   A trampoline and some big bushes.

I am from a warm kitchen with warm smells and a packet of chicken chips.

I am from trips to the beach in Tauranga.

I am from pulling up the dishwasher. 

I am from Mum and Dad, one sister stories told live shared.

I am learning to use describing words to create a picture in the reader's mind.

I enjoyed describing my house

I found it was challenging to spell the big words right.

Next time I would change using full stops correctly.

paoa and kiwa

the teachers came and talk to us  paoa and kiwa's trip to island out at sea.    We had to a waka which I have posted a picture of above.
